Jeyka let out a growl as she continued to struggle for a moment. Her eyes flashing toward Martin’s blade which was a few inches away from her face. She really was fearing that ancient sword that has been through many battles thick and thin. She looked back at Wynn with a solid glare before looking around at the crowd all looking toward her expectantly. She had no choice. There was no use fighting someone much stronger than her. Jeyka let out a sigh and relaxed her muscles, looking up at Wynn with a slightly defeated look. ”Yes…You beat me Wynn.” She looked up at him and smiled gently, her hurt and unhappy expression disappearing in a flash to be replaced by a well-hearted smile. ”That was a pretty good battle.” She said with a nod, her breathing slowing as she relaxed waiting for him to release her.

Wynn laughed in triumph. Holding her wrist in a less painful way, he hefted her to her footpaws and let go. Keeping the sword in the ground, he started to brush his fur off getting all the dust out of it. Walking over to get his lost arrows, he tried to find them, but to no avail. Walking back, he pouted and scratched the fur on his arm. "Yeah, it was pretty tough. If you were a little faster, I think you might've won!"

Jeyka dusted herself off as well then let out a gentle giggle. ”This gives me another reason to train harder.” She replied delightfully, not sounding to disappointed. ”You’re quite the fighter, you are, Wynn.” She complimented watching the crowd slowly part away finding that their Champion had won as always. She let out another hearty laugh, twitching her whiskers and lashing her tail back and form. ”I’d like to battle you again sometime, but this time, I’m going to win!” She boasted playfully.

The fox looked around as the beasts despersed to their other tasks at paw. SMiling to Jeyka, and bringing back his full attention, he nodded. "I am quite the fighter, aren't I?" He brushed his claws on his fur and inspected them very closely, as if admiring them. Breaking into a small giggle fit, he smiled. "Of? A rematch you say? Well, you could only wish to beat me. You're fast, but you're not strong enough, to take down a full sized opponent like me." He winced, his eyes narrowing as he was reminded of the strikes to his back and left side. Looking to them as best as he could, he shook his head. "At least they're only scratches," He muttered to himself. A sigh escaped his lips and he gave a smaller, more heartfelt smile to the younger mousmaid. "You did, however, manage to get blood from the Redwall Champion, at which, I'm deeply fond of you." He peered closer to her, and started to look her up and down. "With the right training, somday, just someday, you'd be able to beat me." He gave another small giggle and shook his head, waving his paw dismissivly. "But I'd probably be gray from pawtip to eartip!"

Jeyka eyes the scratches she had achieved in causing with a beaming smile. ”Well, If I’m good enough to cause a scratch then I’m good enough to take you down. Just like a stream can turn to a river and a river into the sea and the sea can cause waves- all little by little.” She replied, reciting one of the sayings she had read in one of the old books in the Redwall library. She only laughed at his words/ ”Gray with fear!” She scoffed. ”I’ll be able to beat you for sure, no matter how large you are.” Jeyka brushed her dress then examined her sword with a frown at the now damaged blade. She let out a sigh and placed it back into its sheath before examining her dagger which was still in it’s good condition. She smiled then placed it back before looking up at Wynn, awaiting for his answer.

The older fox rolled his eyes to her words. "That sounds like some corny thing an old mouse would say. Which, it probably was." He chuckled and watched as she put her damaged sword back into her hilt. Walking over to Martin's Sword, he answered he question while cleaning at the time as well. "Well," He said, starting to wipe the dirt off of the shining blade, "if you keep your attitude up like that, you'll probably beat me in a few seasons, maybe more." He finished cleaning the blade and returned it to it's sheath on his back. Looking to the mouse's sheath itself with her damaged sword, he pointed to it with a black digit. "I'll get you a new one." He said, moving his gaze to her eyes. "I'll ask the Badger Lord for one, and maybe help if I can. I wouldn't mind meeting the new one. Don't know what he's like, though."

Jeyka shrugged gently. ”No. I don’t want a new sword.” She murmured with a shake of her head and a stubborn grunt. ”I can repair it myself.” She said with a nod yet the thought of beating more metal and iron into the blade where it had been chipped just brought beads of sweat upon her forehead. Jeyka unsheathed it and began padding back toward Redwall to go find some metals of the same material as her original sword which had been made long ago. ”I would like to meet him too.” She pondered whislt walking, her eyes still grazing over the blade for any other damages.

The fox followed her with his gaze before he realized that she had actually gone. Looking around, he blinked before he started to follow her. "Oh?" He asked, in response for her saying she didn't want him to get another sword. "Oh, er, okay then. That seems reasonable..." He followed her into the Abbey, but quickly put the Sword of Martin back onto its hook in the Great Hall. Catching up to her in a jog, he walked a pace behind her. Looking around the walls, he quirked a brow and caught up so he was walking next to her. "Have you ever met a badger before?" ((Man, today, I got my bike welded, and my eyes are KILLING ME, just the blue light from the welding hurts. And THEN I got permanent paint on my hands!! **grumbles** ))

Jeyka looked back at him with a gentle giggle. ”It seems surprising to you. Don’t you fix your own weapons when they break?” She asked him, ears perked to hear his explanation. ”Umm, No.” She replied with a shake of her head knowing that there were no badgers at Redwall at the moment and not one of those large black and white furred creatures ever walked even past the Abbey. ”I might have caught a sight of one or two, but not likely that I have ever talked to one.”
(Ouch. >< Didn't you put one of those little mask things? XDD And the paint will wear off eventually. lolz!! They say permanent on Sharpies but they come off sooner or later. xDD)

Wynn blinked and shrugged. "The only weapons I use are long bows and dirks. And if they break, yes I will make a new one..." He shook his head and scratched one of his ears. "Might've seen one or two?" He chuckled and remembered his last time to Salamandastron. It was his first time, and when he reached near the mountain, the Long Patrol had thought he was trying to be a one beast raiding party. "Last time I saw one, I was almost mauled by a score or so of hares." He rubbed the side of his muzzle in the memory. "Their punches hurt!" He chuckled and started to scratch at the side where he was rubbing. ((No, I didn't wear a mask. He just said "Don't look or you'll melt your eyes right out of their sockets, but I accidentally looked at a small reflection. I couldn't see for a couple minutes >< and they painst is starting to wear off now...))

Jeyka couldn’t help but utter a laugh. ”Well, they are pretty fast- even for me.” She replied, a smile spread across her face as she looked around for around for any spare metal around the many rooms. She looked back at him with a smile as she found a small piece of nearly the same material. ”This will do.” She murmured to herself before padding outside once again. ”But the easy way to fight then off without being hit is by ducking and tripping then over their large feet. If that doesn’t work, an easy pick of their whisker can bring down any weak-hearted hare.” She said with a nod, recalling back to the time when she had trained with a member of the Long Patrol.

Wynn followed and folded his arms across his back, nodding while listening to her words. He looked to the piece of medal and smirked at her words. "Well then," He said after she spoke. "I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm there!" ((Sorry for super crappyness, I'm stressed out, and it's midnight))

(Its ok. I totally understand. ^^ Why are you stressed out? ^.- oh and sorry for not saying anything before. XD Well, a reflection does hurt. >< And that’s good that the paint is nearly gone. ^^)
Jeyka laughed heartily as she placed the piece of metal in her bag. Her eyes peering up at Wynn. ”I guess I can just fix it later. Its almost sunset!” She exclaimed happily. She loved the beauty of the spectacle and tried her best not to miss one moment of it. Her tail swept along the ground as she stopped to face the fox. ”So, is there anything else the Champion of Redwall has to do other than hang out with a tiny mouse like myself?” She asked playfully, eyebrow rising whilst followed by a flurry of giggles.

Wynn smiled and nodded. "I love sunsets. It just means a new day is starting for some other beast." He chuckled at her request, almost like a practical beg to ask if he had nothing other to do. "Me? Oh, well, no I don't think I do." He shrugged and smiled warmly at her. "I'd love to come with you." His smile stayed on his face and his gaze turned to look around their surroundings. ((School, exams, no sleep. It's just starting to take its tole on me...))

Jeyka smiled brightly as she quickly took his paw and began tugging him forward. ”I know the perfect place to go see it.” Being the lonely little mouse maiden as herself, she had much time on her paws and each day, the sunset was something she would look forward to.
(Aww, same here. >< Since its nearly the end of the year, homework and tests have been piling up. You should take it easy. ^^ Maybe watch a movie or relax on the couch sometime. =3 I wish I could help.)
