The fox allowed his paw to be taken by the smaller mouse, only for her's to be covered by his. "You better know a good spot, cuz I sure don't!" He chuckled and looked around as he was being taken back outside to the glowing sunset going under the horizon. ((Yeah, I just went to the movies and hung out with him for the whole weekend, so I feel quite a bit better now. Though, getting my project deleted today when it's due on Wednesday doesn't really help=/ ))

Jeyka looked back at him, letting her smaller paw be covered by his larger paw as she continued to pull him up a hill near Redwall. Upon the peak was a large tree with branches hanging outward as if outstretching toward Redwall Abbey. ”I come here nearly everyday I can come.” She replied in delight, quickly sitting down cross-legged, pulling him down as well beside her. ”There’s a great view of the sun from here.”
(>< That sucks. Well, I know you can get it done before Wednesday. XD I have finals on Wednesday. >< Ugh. Lolz!! Well, Im also going to the movies today. ^^ So yeps.)

Wynn looked to the hill as they neared it, and to the tree resting in its crest. He bet it could get a good view. As he sat down next to her, he crossed his legs and rested his back against the tree. "I'll remember to come here when I'm off of my duties," He said to her quietly.

Jeyka nodded gently. ”Its amazing how I came about this place.” She responded quietly as the sun slowly began its decent behind the horizon, just touching the peaks of the mountains far off away from Redwall. ”I was still young and I had nearly been chased up here by an angry squirrel and up this tree.” She pointed up into the branches. Where she pointed was a stubby point as which a branch had looked like it broken away from the tree. ”I scrambled up, the branch fell and I hit the ground. Luckily, the traveler wasn’t to mad as me and carried me back to Redwall, but not after watching the sunset for a bit.” She laughed.

Wynn listened to her short tale and smiled as she ended. "THat's quite a squirrel you rustled up, then. It's lucky he chased you to this spot." He turned his hed to the horizon, blinking a little as the sun set over the peaks. "It reminds me of my mother," He said quietly. He looked to her and lowered his gaze. "When I was small, me, her, my Father, and my sister would go to a clearing and watch the sunset every night." He sighed and tucked his knees up to his chest, turning his gaze back to the horizon. "I miss her," He whispered to himself.

Jeyka looked down upon the fox with slight worry. ”W-What happened to her?” She asked, not knowing much about the warrior until today. She folded her tail over her paws as she perked up her ears to listen.
(Sorry it’s so short. ><)

Wynn didn't look to her when he spoke, too preoccupied on watching the sun. "She was killed by some vermin camp." He sighed and rested his head between his knees. "I was only young then, but me and my family eventually found Redwall on the brink of starvation." He shrugged and relaxed again to the tree. "This is my home now, but my heart will always be with my born home. ((It's alright, everybody looses their muse now and again x] ))

As Jeyka listened to the sad story she let out a faint gasp yet she stayed quiet for a moment. Her focus changed to face Wynn with the same worried look upon her face. After another silent pause she rested her gentle paw upon his shoulder pressing closer to his side a bit trying to comfort him. ”Oh…” Was all she could muse trying her best to find the right words to say at the moment. ”I never knew my mother…or my father. I was just here and all I could remember was ending up here at Redwall. I nearly spend all my life here and I intend on staying for the remainder of my mouse life-span.” She said quietly in a hushed tone as if in a whisper.
(xD Yesh, but its slowly returning again. XDD)

Wynn nodded slowly, relishing the feeling of the smaller paw on his shoulder. He sighed with content and smiled slightly. As she finished her story, he looked to her and nudged her gently. "Then how about we look out for eachother? A family thing you could say." He gave a weak smile, but it was one nevertheless. He tried not to tell anybody about his weakness -his mother- but he fully trustedthe small mouse. He fingured he could with anything to her.

Jeyka let out a sigh of relief feeling a sort of bond between them as she nodded as well. She herself didn’t share much about herself- being that there wasn’t much to tell -but the way Wynn had listened to her without fault just made her feel a bit better about living here at Redwall and not so lonely anymore. ”I think that would be great.” Jeyka replied delightfully before resting her head gently upon his shoulder closing her eyes quietly. IT seemed like she could sit there forever, peaceful and finally really happy for the first time in her life in a long time.

((Of wow... I just read the many spelling mistakes in my last post. i was at my dad's and he has a really cruddy keyboard. -.- He needs a new one...)) Wynn gave a blissful smile. Was he falling for her? He had known her for a while, but not ever like this. And what would people think? A fox with a mouse. The species were practically enemies! The fox nodded to her agreement, half focused on her, half on his thoughts, and half on what his father would think if he told him he was starting to have feelings for a mouse. He rested his own head atop hers, sighing one of deep thought this time. 'I think I am falling for her,' He thought. Looking into the horizone, he watched the last of the sun sink under the mountain peeks. He was sad now.
He didn't want this to ever end.

Jeyka let out a shallow breath as she perked up her ears and opened her eyes, finding herself in shaded darkness. She looked back at Wynn; a longing look remaining in her eyes. The sunset was over yet something inside her was bubbling like a hot water spring. It was quiet and it had been quiet ever since she had rested her head against the fox and the silence continued as she looked up at the stars that were beginning to peek out of the deep dark blue skies while the white moon began to brighten with each second. But her attention soon returned back onto Wynn, her head still laid comfortably upon him. Am I bothering him? She thought worryingly. Jeyka was quite content and that same feeling returned back to her stomach. So this is what it feels to have butterflies in my stomach…but why so? The simple thought of a mouse loving a fox was strange and Jeyka surely knew that, but for some reason, it didn’t seem so weird at this moment. Now her thoughts began drifting away again but on different matters. Like him? Maybe…I don’t know… Her heart was beating loudly as she brought these thoughts up but something inside her told her that it was true. She had fallen for him for sure. But was it because she had no one to really love for so long? The fake type of love? Love that is only an illusion to the mind and heart? But no, It couldn’t be like that. She just knew it couldn’t.
As Jeyka’s thoughts began to form into more confusing and twisting ideas she stopped herself with a slight twitch of her whiskers. I do…I do… Echoed her heart with each passing beat, but her thoughts answered back with a firm Maybe… She took another deep breath as she closed her eyes once more, slowly beginning to fall into the clutches of sleep. Maybe…Maybe I do…
((xDD Aww! ^^))

The foxed sighed, starting to watch her fall asleep. She looked as if she was thinking the same battle in her had as he was now. He smiled and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, looking into the skies. The stars were starting to twinkle now that the sun was getting farther and farther away from their position. His eyes reflected the dots in the sky, and he looked to Jeyka who had started to fall asleep, holding onto conciousness barely. ((Awweh, but I cant think of stuffz tae post! Gaspeth!))

((xD Tis ok. ^^ I’ll fast forward to the morning. ^^))
The next moment, Jeyka found herself curled up next to Wynn clutching to him comfortably. She found that his own arm was around her as well and the small mouse couldn’t help but give a gentle giggle. She let out a wide yawn, rubbing her dark black eyes before scanning the area. She had slept quite soundly and now the sun was high in the sky. Wow…How long have I been sleeping? She turned her head a bit before slowly sitting up from where she lay next to Wynn spread upon the ground. They were still upon the hill next to the tree. Hopefully no one had found them there. Jeyka let out another yawn as she looked out at the sky for a moment a cold wind sweeping across her whiskers. She was still a bit stunned by sleep form last nice. Never had she felt so serene in her short life so far and she only wished that she could re-live that experience again. But what would Wynn think? Everything seemed only a blur yet her stomach still fluttered with that same butterfly feeling as she looked down at the handsome fox beside her.

A slight sneze awoke the fox from his pleasant slumbler. 'Gotta be kiddin' me, I was having the best dream ever...' He yawned in the way that all canines did and stretched while flexing his fingers and toes. As he looked to see what caused his awakening, he squinted his eyes from the sun. Looking carefully up, he noticed that it was about in the middle of the sky. Half of the day was gone! And Redwall's Champion was probably being searched for, along with Jey-... Jeyka! A glance to his side told her that she had stayed throughout the night into the morning. He smiled blissfully and unwrapped his arm from around her shoulders. "You're still here," He said quietly. It was more of a statement (a happy one at that) than a question. He adjusted his position so his back was against the tree some more. "I'm glad you are..." He said quietly, starting to groom his fur with a content smile on his muzzle.
