Wynn stretched the bowstring back farther, narrowing his eyes as she tightened her grip on the hilt of her blade. 'I can do this. My mother shall give me my victory, and I shall earn my living...' His ritual chant before battle played in his mind, just as it did every other time he fought in a fight. He started a low growl, starting to get into the mood of the fight now. Wynn's ears twitched to her words, not even fazing through him. 'You can't prove me wrong. When I say something will happen, such as me winning, itwill happen.' His grip tightened even more on the bow.
Wynn became distracted, though, as Jeyka told him to hold on. Blinking, he slackened the tension on the taught string, but not all the way. Wondering what in the heck she was doing, he tilted his head and raised an ear, just as a feral fox would. Looking and watching her, most of the gatherers must've thought she was crazy. once the black bags dropped from her ankles, did he only realize what they were. 'Weights?! if she was that fast before, how fast is she now?...' He growled and put the arrow he had on his bow string away. This time, though, he took out four arrows -one of which being a smoke- , notching them all onto the bow, and aimed them at her head. If he was going to win, he'd have to do it like a fox."So," He called forward. Many of the beast's ears turned to him as he spoke after Jeyka. "If you're planning to stop interrupting the battle now, we may begin." He fired the arrows at her, not caring if he hit her or not. Putting the bow onto his back with great speed and practice, he drew Martin's blade, the ston in the hilt shimmering as the sun hit it. Also, he drew his dirk, spinning them in his paws, he watched to see what his foe/friend would do.

Jeyka’s ears twitched lightly as she caught the sound of the snapping bow and the whizzing arrows coming toward her. She turned her head slightly with a bright grin and in what seemed like a simple jump into the air, she disappeared. Yet most had caught her quick movement of running forward, bent in a crouch, dashing right under the swift arrows. Her dark black eyes flickered for a moment before she raised her sword, quite free and away from the arrows, And quickly came forward and down, straight in the middle of Wynn’s head. She knew this was such a simple maneuver and the sly fox would surely catch this, but this was not the top limit of her great speed. Unfortunately she was much weaker than the champion of Redwall. Hopefully, her speed would aid her here.
With Jeyka’s other hand she grasped her dagger form her belt, easily and smoothly just as quick as her dodge away from the arrows. This time, while her sword attacked from above, her smaller blade slashed from the side. She aimed for his belt, ready to cut it away for his disadvantage but with this close combat her hind legs kept steady, always ready for a back-up escape plan.

The young fox kept his eye on her, watching as she easily dodged his arrows. 'Oh.. okay, no more arrows until I tire her out...' He tightened the grip on his weapons. He gasped slightly as Jeyka appeared in front of him, swinging down on his head with her sword, and across with her dagger. He grapsed the Sword of Martin, ready to fend off her dagger, and with his dirk on her sword. He swung his sword to parry her dagger, and his dirk to her sword. The metal clanged, and the sword easily deflected her dagger, as well with his dirk. He side stepped to the side and did a small flip, twirling his sword in his paw again. "Come on then, mousy. You want to beat me, you'll have to be faster than that!" He hoped the taunt would work. 'I've faced harder opponents. I'm just hoping she's not even at her best yet...'

Jeyka smiled, knowing that he could easily deflect her simple attack. She pulled her weapons back a bit, closer to her body as she kept in motion and instantly she disappeared, reappearing on the other side of Wynn. ”Now fast enough, eh?” She laughed, quickly coming forward once again with her sword, this time her dagger was clearly in its sheath upon her belt. ’I’ll use it later.’ She thought to herself, aiming her sword downward once again just at the normal speed a before. ’Come on…show me what you got…’

Wynn smiled and noded. "You sure will have to be faster!" He laughed and winked at her, wanting to make her more aggressive by taunting her. When the voice became next to him though, he scowled and growled some.
”Now fast enough, eh?”'
Martin's sword parryed her own. Smiling like a fox, he chuckled. "Not quite..." He chuckled again and swung his fist at her face...

Jeyka kicked forward, shoving her hind-legs into Wynn’s stomach with an angry growl, sliding backwards along the ground all at once. The flash of his fist only seeming intimidating as she dodged easily. She let out another angry growl finding that their would-be fight started with simple play. ’Time to take it up a notch.’ She flicked her tail and swiveled her ears forward before sprinting forward at a sort of jog. But as she reached a length of about two feet away from Wynn she disappeared once again only to appear behind him, slashing sideways and downward at lightning-fast speed, soon appearing to his right side doing the same and then to his left doing the same once again. Weather her slashes hit or not she continued traveling a full 360 degrees around him with a determined look upon her face, gaining speed with each touch to the ground.

Wynn gasped as the wind was knocked out of him. 'Okay, maybe she is a little faster than I expected...' He thought to himself. He stood up, and blinked as she wasn't in front of him anymore. 'Uhm, oay, like not weir-' He was knocked from his thoughts by a searing hot pain in his back, then his right. Knowing they were slash marks, he guessed that she would appear to his left, so he dodged her next attack and recovered, looking to the wounds on him. Growling, he swung Martin's sword down in her own, cutting the tip of her blade. He growled louder, swinging in a full 360 body spin, the blade a silver glimmer as it passed around his body.

Jeyka beamed proudly at the thought of finally being able to attack the sly fox but her eyes quickly caught the movement of Martin’s blade against her own. ”No!” She yelped out loud, pulling her blade back while sliding along the ground once again. She quickly began examining the sword, eyes wide and whiskers twitching. She suddenly let out a growl, immediately dodging his attack by leaning a bit backwards but her anger quickly rose at the sight of her broken sword. The tip now seemed slightly uneven- though it was flawed before with her inexperienced hands, but this just ruined all her hard work with one swipe. She lowered her blade, crouching down in a ready stance. ’That’s the last straw…’ ”You’ll pay for that foxy.” She sprinted forward once more this time at a much faster speed before disappearing once again. This time, Jeyka appeared above him with a downward strike aiming for his ear and this time with the thought of the ability of Martin’s blade. ’This is going to be harder than I thought…’

Wynn grinned at successly damagain her prized weapon.
”You’ll pay for that foxy.”
The fox grinned at the words. 'Then come and get me,' He thought to himself. When he noticed that the mouse had left her spot, he instinctivly flipped out of the way, coming a hairswidth away from losing an ear. Pulling the bow off his back, he notched two arrows and fired from the close range. Then, putting the bow back into his... back, he took out a smoke stone and threw it onto the ground, making a gray-white powder around him, and it soon spread. 'Okay, this'll buy me time. Okay, if I want to beat her, I've got to think ahead and keep my eyes and ears on her.' He gripped the hilt of his sword harder. Taking a deep breath, he walked backwards and out of hte cloud, in case she went into it. ' If I want to beat her, too, I'll have to destroy her blade, ot at least stun her long enough to knock her down for a killing swipe...' More thoughts of how to beat the caffeine-enduced mouse erupted into his sly mind. OCC:: CAFFEINE-ENDUCED!!! >XD

Ooc: Caffeine-educed? XDD
Ic: Jeyka let out another low growl as she hit the ground with a simple thud. She looked around and with a gasp, leaped backward away from the smoke bomb. Her eyes searched among the cloud for the fox. ’Where could he be…?’ She lowered her sword and kept herself low as she continued to search over the cloud but she could make out nothing form the cloudy area. She shook her head then took a deep breath before running forward into the smoke until she arrived near the center. She closed her eyes and perked up her ears before readying herself once again. ’Just wait…’

The final thought came to Wynn's head, and he nodded to himself in aggrement. 'That's what I'll do,' He thought to himself. He walked back into the smoke, quietly as possible, on tip-paw. Straining his ears, he breathed short quick silent gasps hoping for the mouse not to hear him. But then again, she did have bigger ears. He raised his sword and readied for any parrying he may have to do.

Jeyka’s ears suddenly perked up at the sound of shifting dirt under the fox’s feet. ’There!’ She thought. It was quite true that a mouse’s ears were strong and even the smallest twitch from the smallest creature could give their position away. ”You think you can hide but you know you can’t.” She laughed, leaping into the air and lashing downward with her sword toward Wynn’s head. Her hand reached down and she swiftly grasped her dagger and slashed sideward. She had to be careful with her sword from now on, eyes and ears upon Martin’s sword just incase but with her dagger, she was fine if the short blade was cut. Jeyka had bought the dagger a few days ago seeing that her old one had broken into pieces with her own training.

Wynn scowled as he heard her words. WEll of course he couldn't hide! She had bloody saucers for ears! Flicking his ears forward, he straied to hear and smiled as he heard the air being cut downwards, so he stepped to the side. Finally able to see her throught the smoke, he bent backwards to dodge the dagger. Grabbing her wrist, he straightened up and pulled her forward and down, hoping to flip her onto her back.

Jeyka let out a yelp as she felt his hand wrap around her wrist and her back quickly hitting the ground with a loud thud. She hissed in frustration as she tried her best to wriggle her hand away from him as she sprawled to get back onto her feet. But here she definitely had a disadvantage for he was the stronger over her. ’Shoot! I have to break free!!’ She thought knowing that here he could defeat her quite easily.

Wynn smiled, finally getting her picced with his brute strength. Twirling Martin's sword in his paw, he smirked and stabbed the ground, inches from Jeyka's head. Still holding her wrist, he smikred and bent closer to her face. "Do you admit defeat, Jeyka?" The words flowed out of his muzzle with great confidence, seeing as it would be foolish not to admit defeat at this time. Especially when there's a sword that could decapitate any foe with a single movement.
